Our San Ramon financial planner helps us get packing

We are so excited about how our San Ramon financial planner helped us get packing for our upcoming trip to Rome. A lifelong dream of visiting the Vatican in Rome finally came true with the wonderful help of our San Ramon financial planner. We set about saving and investing as our San Ramon financial planner discussed.  Many days of beans and rice provided the extra needed financial discipline to make it all possible now to spend many days eating at beautiful Italian culinary treasures.  My family, though reluctant at first to really tighten the belt for a period of time, are now rejoicing at the great fun ahead in magnificent Rome.

Monsoon has arrived

As the monsoon arrives, the street that I live in gets water logged due to the bad and pathetic storm water drainage system. Since the amount of water flowing into this drainage pipes is huge, the pipe so not have the capacity to hold much water and as a result, spill on the roads, thus making the roads dirty. This also leads to large traffic jams. To mend the damage and find a concrete solution to the entire mess, we decided to call to Centreville Plumber, who promptly came and replaced the existing pipes with bigger ones. Thanks to them, there are no complaints of water logging.

Father-In-Law Loves Thank You Quotes

My father-in-law missed his calling in life. He has worked as an engineer for the last 30 years, but he loves greeting cards. Not only does he keep every card that someone gives him, but he memorizes the ones he like particularly well so he can have a ready quote handy when he needs it. After he finished barbecuing, he gave several thank you quotes, courtesy of his cards. He even writes them himself. I asked him why he never considered being an inspirational writer and he answered that he is only interested in short snippets, not long tomes. He could have written greeting cards!

Fireplace Screen from Generations to Generations

Some families keep jewelries from one generation to another. They pass it down as a legacy and as sign of the family bond. In my family it is so weird. We have been passing down a fireplace screen. It was my great grandmothers. My grandmother inherited it and so did my mom. My mother is going to give to me soon. Every time I see it I get reminded of how my family has survived the sufferings and the problems that they encounter from a generation to another. And how they have maintained to keep the family intact and how they instill values. The fireplace screen reminds me so much of whom I am. I plan to keep and take care of it so my future daughters may also have it.

Do Not Start a Business Without an Accountant

Most mothers I know gave their daughters advice about makeup and boys.  Mine mostly warned me about avoiding debt and how to make good investments.  As you might guess, she is a banker and money is her business.  Mom always said I should never start a business without a good accountant, and I paid attention.  What she did not say was how to find an accountant, especially when you are new in town.  The answer for me was the Internet, where I got a list of the best accounting firms in town and hired one.  As always Mother was right and my “money guy” has saved my business life time and again.

Harp, Hear It Sharp

I have always been fascinated by musical instruments. I do not know why but there is something about musical instruments that make me wish I can play one of them at least. I worked hard to reach that goal and the instrument I chose was the harp. Since the first time I saw the harp, I already felt that this was the one. It feels like something was dragging me close to it. Like a magnet of some sort. The harp also has a certain kind of elegance that is undoubtedly perfect for some display of grace, elegance and charm.
