One of my favorite shows is “The Office.” I think I like this show so much because I relate. My office is just like that complete with our own quirky characters. So many shows portray glamorous characters with unlikely jobs and lots of money. There may be people like that somewhere, but most people work in an average, everyday environment. And part of that scenario is working in office cubicles just like on the show.
Not that I wouldn’t mind being rich with my dream job, but the reality is I’m not and I have to work just to get by. So the only pile of money I will have is the one I dream about while sitting in my cubicle.

The first spring after we bought our cottage I told my husband Dan we could not live there the following winter. We had just spent four cold months bundled up in blankets every day and I wanted to sell the place, even though I loved the way it looked. The idea of replacing the heating system did not appeal because the house was so drafty. Dan began searching for a solution and found information about great cavity wall insulation. We had our home insulated and noticed a big difference the next Autumn, when temperatures began to drop. It now actually costs less to heat the cottage and it is always cozy. I am so glad we stayed.
