Artists Like Mary Ann Rogers Are Making A Killing From Prints

September 5th, 2009

You may describe modern art as pieces that have been made in the last century.  The painter Mary Ann Rogers is a excellent example of one of today’s contemporary artist.  Prized art and authentic prints are now being placed above the mantle piece in ordinary properties rather than grand mansions.  Modern art can now be seen on street walls as well as art galleries, providing strong messages about society’s constant struggle.

These things as well as increased publicity of British art and the Tate Modern, have all been major factors in the rise of contemporary art.  A artist such as Mary Ann Rogers will sometimes fail to get the critical acclaim they desire but can rest assured if they have their own fan base.  Many people now have Mary Ann Rogers prints because the artist gave permission for copyrighted prints of their pieces to be put on general sale.
