Steps of a good workflow for post production can often make a good wedding photographer a great wedding photographer. Not only will it eliminate lots of wasted time, it will make post production a more fun and enjoyable part of the day, even though not shooting on a location. Few key steps to a successful post wedding workflow might include: 1. Fast and reliable transfer of huge quantity of raw images via cf card readers using the usb2 or firewire800 technologies. 2. Reliable storage and backup system via raid, external hard drives, drobo, servers or off site storage. 3. Software that is able to ingest vast number of images, cull them down and work with the images to manipulate the exposure, contrast and white balance. Such software might include Photo mechanic, Adobe Lightroom 2, Adobe Photoshop CS4 or Apple Aperture.
