Getting Things Right With a Daycare Business Plan

March 3rd, 2010

Starting a business for many is a scary endeavor for many and that includes me.  I’ve never been in business before and have worked for over 10 years as a corporate employee.  Those days are no more since I find myself at home nowadays tending to my twin baby girls.

I love being with my babies and want to also make a side income to supplement my husband’s.  I talked with a couple friends of mine and they suggested I try a day care business.  After some thought I decided to learn more about what I needed to do.

One of the things I found out is that I’ll need a daycare business plan if I’m to succeed and make this more than just a hobby.  With a business plan in hand, I’m not going to be as fearful of the unknown since I’ll have thought through most of the potential problems before starting.  While I know that there might be some small unknown problems that creep up during the course of my daycare business, it’ll be alright because I’ve taken care of the big business already.
