The frustration of no professional wedding photography bookings.

I’m struggling to get clients, especially ones that will pay full price – I’ve been trying to advertise at these wedding fayres but they’re all so quiet.  All the potential clients I’ve met at them say they absolutely love the photos they’ve seen in my portfolio and that they’re really professional but I’m not getting the bookings.  Am I not good enough value?  Its so frustrating as I know I’m a really creative/contemporary photographer and that my pictures are what the customers want, but seriously, what have other professional wedding photography companies got that I haven’t?!  Is it that I need to advertise in magazines?
