Trouble With My New Computer

I just bought a new computer. I thought it would be everything that I wanted and needed. I have had my computer for about two weeks now and my computer is freezing while I am online. It is so annoying and i do not know how to make the issue of my computer freezing stop. My boyfriend says I must have a virus or something. I called the support number and they said the same thing that my boyfriend did. I am going to just pack it up back in the box and take it back to the store and return it for a new one.
