Bad Things Happen

Sometimes bad things just happen to good people for no reason at all. Take a lady in my church for instance. She is the kindest and most wonderful woman in the world. She takes care of others when they’re sick, tithes 50% of her income to the church, baby-sits for single mothers during the week, and gives to the poor. She’s great. But last week, her car broke down, her air conditioner stopped working, and her cat died. I couldn’t believe it. But she just called a company to fix her heating and air conditioning in Placerville and enlisted the help of a mechanic, telling me that bad things happen. She’s one heck of a lady.
