Silentnight Mattress in the Eighties

January 9th, 2010

It would be pretty safe for one to state that the industry of interior design happens to be one that is constantly changes, as fashions do each year. It brings about brand new textures, colors and trends through the ages, some of which are the key to bedroom popularity and have been through various decades. The eighties brought with it various color schemes and involved anything that was miraculously flashy and bright. The most common colors put to use were hot pink, green, orange and blue. Teak or black veneered furniture was extremely prominent during this decade as well, as were beanbag chairs. This also happens to be the time that the first no-roll silentnight mattress was introduced along with fashionable furniture of orange oak.
