To train your dog view it as a 24 hour a day job

December 14th, 2009

Some people just don’t understand that training a dog doesn’t mean just doing a few 10 minute training sessions here and there every once in awhile. To properly train a dog what you have to do is treat it as a full-time thing. What I mean is that leadership never takes a day off. You always have to be in charge of the pack if you want your daughter to respect you and for your efforts to train your dog to work. That’s because dogs don’t understand the concept of going to school so you shouldn’t treat dog training like a class, but rather like a lifestyle.
