What I was struggling with was not the fundamentals of the education program, I was having a difficult time translating them into something that worked for me. I had tried every which way from Sunday to help foster the desire for my children to learn to read but nothing was working. It was not until I got down on their level and I read with them and made it more interactive that they seemed to improve. We all seemed to improve actually. While I had to dedicate more time at the beginning they were spending more time alone with it after we were done.
