Translating from English to Russian

September 9th, 2010

I have lived in Russia all my life and English was to first foreign language I started to learn. I think that by now I am at a pretty good level in English, and at least in writing, can fool people into thinking English is my native language. Of course in person they will hear my horrible Russian accent which is impossible to hide. How sentences a constructed can also differ quite a bit, while attempting English to Russian translation I often find myself constructing sentences with extremely bizarre order of words, not sounding like English is supposed to sound like.
